Life Drawing in the drawing studio at NCAT when the model is a no-show... stuck drawing the teacher!

Every now and then the life model can not make it. Sometimes when this happens, we draw hands and feet, but every now ad then, the students ask to draw their tutor Tracy Paterson. Tracy is a fairly reluctant model but it makes a change!

Life drawing is an integral part of the portfolio building course, acting as the scaffolding for the students drawing experience. Life drawing classes are held once a week and run through the year.

Students had a great time creating cake sculptures during orientation week last week!

The book launch at Loop

Hi Everyone

We had a great night at Loop to celebrate the end of what was a big year for the 2010 crop & to launch the first (of many) NDS grad book!

We have some copies of the book available for purchase from the NDS office for $20 a copy.

Congratulations to all of the 2010 students. It was exciting to hear your news re: uni/TAFE offers :)
